Upstate Independents

Upstate Independents (UI) is a not for profit organization consisting of filmmakers, actors, screenwriters, and other media artists based in the Capital Region of New York. With over 100 members, UI is the resource for Upstate NY independent filmmakers, as well as filmmakers from Massachusetts, Vermont and Connecticut.

New York Video School

Veteran “digital journalist” Michael Rosenblum, NYVS’s founder and president, is the inspiration behind of this innovative approach to learning video. The school offers both pay-as-you-go instruction and Internet courses in his endeavor to turn out “Video Journalists.”
