The nonprofit IFP is the nation’s oldest and largest organization of independent filmmakers, and also the premier advocate for them. Upstate Independents (UI) is a not for profit organization consisting of filmmakers, actors, screenwriters, and other media artists based in the Capital Region of New York. With over 100 members, UI is the resource for Upstate NY independent filmmakers, as well as filmmakers from Massachusetts, Vermont and Connecticut.
