The website creativeLIVE kicks off its first Weekend Master’s Workshop with a free online three day class to be led by Vincent Laforet. He’s the photographer who has made himself a bit of a name jumping on the HDSLR bandwagon early by posting his Canon EOS-shot short films.
The live online class, which runs next weekend (April 30 – May 2), consists of Laforet working with a small group of photographers-cum-filmmakers in an “undisclosed location in Seattle.” Not sure why that last bit is important, but I suppose it adds an air of mystery to something that is otherwise just a class set up to extract $600 from the folks that turn up at said undisclosed location.
The key point is that this is all for free only if you tune in live. The website will sell downloads of the event for $79, so get it while it’s free (or have someone who has nothing better to do to record it for you).
Here’s the info page to sign up for the webcast.
Update: Here’s Vincent Laforet’s blog, which also has info on other useful news about HDSLR shooting.
