Animator, filmmaker, MAXON rep and NYCPPNews senior editor Joe Herman is on tap to deliver a talk at the upcoming Collider NY 2013 conference which begins this Sunday, June 9th. In a special morning session, Joe will walk attendees through VFX on a budget with MAXON CINEMA 4D”.
Collider NY 2013 is the first Siggraph-style gathering in New York that’s aimed at animators, visual effects artists and motion graphic designers.
During his presentation, Joe will discuss such topics as 3D tracking a live action backplate, rigging and posing a biped, lighting approaches, shattering, dynamics, MoGraph, Xpresso, external compositing, X-Refs, motion blur C-Motion and more.
MAXON’s CINEMA 4D is a favorite among motion graphics artists and designers. But many have also come to appreciate it’s powerful tools for character animation, dynamic simulations and visual effects. C4D’s tight integration with Adobe After Effects and the recent release of Cineware make these two programs a dynamic duo.
More info about his talk can be found here.
Other CINEMA 4D themed talks will be featured at the conference such as a master class by veteran motion designer Dave Glanz titled Integrating 3D Dynamics into a Motion Graphics Workflow.
