Martin Scorsese’s Taxi Driver will re-release in a new 4K restoration that restores Michael Chapman’s cinematography to something that might even look better than the original, at least if the striking preview being shown at Film Forum is any indication. (The film returns there for a two-week run on March 18th.) In April, honoring the 35th anniversary of the classic, Sony Pictures releases a Blu-ray version that includes the original Scorsese-Schrader commentary track from the Criterion laser disc,
